The India chapter organises lecture sessions regularly each month.
The Seminars, Workshops (National level) are organized every year.
The information regarding National / International seminars is provided to the members to enable them to participate.

The chapter provides platform to the members to project their R&D activities, new productions.
There is a free exchange of information from member to member through the office of chapter where details of member are available.
Each member is given a Diploma Certificate. The member can indicate this on his card.
The Engineers who obtain destination in various technical activities are honoured during the Annual General Meeting.
Technical assistance is provided to those who would like to pursue higher studies.
Advance courses on various power engineering related topics are planned. These courses will give an opportunity to learn about the latest expert faculty members.

Members will have access of half yearly periodic Journal contains latest articles by the experts
Members will have preference to publication of article in the Society Journal
Regular intimation about the activities and events being organized by Society and its chapters from time to time.
10% discount maximum up to Rs. 500/- in the participation fee for the events being organized from time to time by the Society.
10% concession for publishing advertisement in the periodical/Journal of the Society.
Inclusion of one page write-up about the Organization in Journal for Institutional Members.

Selected Students Members will be given free membership to International Society CIGRE India Chapter, which is renowned foru to engineers working in various fields of Electricity Generation & High Voltage Transmission System.
